Outstanding athlete at Port Huron High School and member of the Port Huron YMCA basketball team which played in the 1933 national championship finals in Denver, Colorado. Long time football, basketball and baseball official. While custodian of Memorial Stadium, Al's generosity made it possible for many poor boys to own a pair of football or baseball shoes. A friend of coaches, players and fans.
