Nominations for the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame

Inductees to the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame are nominated by members of the community. All nominations received by the Hall of Fame's Board of Directors are considered for induction. Nomination forms can be submitted at any time and are required to include a photo of the nominee, documentation such as newspaper articles, photographs, scoresheets, etc. of the nominee's accomplishments, and other pertinent biographical information.

The Hall of Fame's Board of Directors selects each year's honorees at its June meeting. For a nominee to be considered in the current year, the nomination for induction into the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame must be received no later than the first Wednesday of May. Names of those not inducted do remain on the list for consideration in ensuing years.

Candidates for enshrinement are limited to residents, teams, or groups within the boundaries of the Port Huron Area School District, but a candidate does not have to be a current resident. The person, team, or group must have accomplished feats in or made contributions to sports that are of significant stature to warrant permanent recognition by the citizens of the Port Huron Area.

To nominate a potential candidate for enshrinement, please complete the digital form at the bottom of this page (or you may print a paper form by clicking the link below), including photos, achievements, news articles, and any other supporting material (the more, the better!) to:
