1935 St. Stephen Football Team

Mythical Class "C" State Champions. Coach Clarence Taeckens' team won St. Clair County League title with 7-0-1 record. Beat Saginaw St. Peter & Paul, 13-6, for state crown. Scored 200 points to opponents' 25. Held five teams scoreless. Captain Joe Zauner (HB), John "Top" Horbes (QB), Bill McGill (E) and Joe Sopha (T) made First Team All-League. Zauner and McGill are in the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame.
