1974 Zebra Bar Fastpitch Softball Team

The only Port Huron softball team to ever win a National Title, accomplished three times. First as Blue Water Aviation in 1971. Runners-up in 1972 and champions as Zebra Bar in 1974. Overall record in 1974 was 45-5. Jack Rand was the outstanding pitcher and league MVP. Mickey Platzer (.375 avg.), Bill Ort and Jody Platzer (seven homeruns) were the top hitters. They swept the State and National tournaments in twelve straight games.
