1987 Secory Mobil Flyers Modified A Softball Team

Year Inducted: 1990

This team was called “The Class of the Port Huron Competitive Sports Association Class A Modified Leagues” by the Times Herald. Their Perfect 18-0 regular season was complimented by several tournament championships and the 1987 state modified title. They were characterized by both great hitting and good pitching. Tony Moncrief led leauge batters with a .580 average. Pitcher, Brian Spencer, was the league MVP. The team finished the season with a 65-7 record. They placed 10th out of 60 teams in the national tournament.
