Charlene Catalina

Year Inducted: 1989

An outstanding and very accomplished distance runner named the Female Runner of the Year by Michigan Runner Magazine in 1987. She was the only Michigan female to finish the Boston Marathon in 1989 – a Female Masters 12th place finish. An educator by profession, Charlene uses the classroom to teach advantages of running, fitness and nutrition. Her commitment and dedication is an inspiration to her students.
