Clarence "Bear" Davis

Amateur baseball player with the Henderson Giants, the Great Lakes Giants and the Portsmouth (Ohio) Giants. Organized and played on a team for Jimmy Master in Port Huron in the 1930's. An outstanding friend and counselor of youth, Bear Davis, while employed at Memorial Stadium, became the adviser. Confidant and friend of players, coaches, officials and fans. A religious man, a community spirited person and a true friend of athletes and athletics.
