Clyde "Pop" Johnson

Year Inducted: 1988

Clyde played football, basketball and baseball at Port Huron High School from 1936-1938, earning nine athletic letters and being named to the Class "A" All-Star Football Team in 1937. "Pop" excelled at football and went on to the University of Detroit where he played three years under the head coach Gus Dorais. After discharge from military service, he took up residency in Sacramento, California.
