Dick Groch

Eighteen years as baseball coach at SC4, compiling an overall 497-165 record that included eight Central Division, seven State and three North Central District titles. Dick Groch's teams went to the National Junior College World Series in 1970, 1972 and 1976 – finishing runner-up in 1976. He was voted "Coach of the Year" each of these years. 46 of his players went on to play professional baseball, with several eventually playing in the Major Leagues.
