Edgar Weber "Cap" Kiefer

Founder of the original Port Huron Yacht Club in 1923 and organizer of the Port Huron-to-Mackinac Sailboat Race. Sailed in first three Port Huron-to-Mackinac Races in 1925-1927. Longtime president of Port Huron Paper Company and leader in community affairs. A member of the Mackinac Race Committee and the Bayview and Detroit Yacht Clubs. Commodore of Interlake Yacht Racing Association in 1947.
