Gained State and National fame as racer of outboard motor boats. One of Nation's top ten in stock outboard marathons from 1956-69. Competed in races throughout the east, midwest, and west. National High Point Marathon Champion, Class DU, 40 H.P., 13 ft. boat in 1965, runner-up in '62, '63, '64, and '67. Outstanding golfer and bowler. Father of six daughters.
