Premier softball pitcher during Port Huron's Golden Fastpitch Softball years in the 1950's and '60's. Great basketball player on Port Huron High's great teams in 1949-50 and 1950-51. Led Big Reds to State Finals in his junior year and to the Regionals as a senior. Team's Most Valuable Player, All-EML, 1st Team Detroit News All-State.
