H. Reed Laughlin

Coached and taught 40 years, 33 in Port Huron. Led Big Reds basketball team to state finals in 1948 and 1950. Quit coaching and replaced Brick Fowler as Athletic Director in 1966 after compiling 246-182 coaching record in basketball. Retired in 1980. Deeply involved in community affairs. Founding member and past president of Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame Board of Trustees. Past president of Kiwanis. Officer of Black River Country Club and 1st Congregational Church.
