Jim Ladensack

Jim Ladensack is a longtime baseball and softball player, coach and administrator.

Jim played baseball in the Western County Baseball Association from 1967-1987. His teams won 5 titles and he was selected an all-star 8 times.

During his softball career in Port Huron, Jim’s teams won numerous league championships. He played on 10 state championship teams and made 13 national championships appearances. His teams finished in the top 10 in the country 3 times. His teams won over 45 tournament titles over his softball career from 1976-1996.

Jim was a co-founder of the Blue Water Invitational softball tournament which drew many of the top teams from all over the country including several defending national championship teams to Port Huron for 7 years.

Jim also worked for 20 years for the Port Huron Parks and Recreation Department, starting many new programs for the kids and adults in the Port Huron area. Jim also served at the Amateur Softball Association (A.S.A.) District 8 commissioner for 2 years.
