Matt Jamison

Matt Jamison was born and raised in Port Huron. He graduated from Port Huron Northern in 1989, from Hillsdale College in 1993 and earned his MBA from the University of Michigan in 2001.


While at PHN, Matt was a 10-letter winner across basketball, football, tennis and track. He was a two-year captain of the basketball team and three-time team MVP. Matt earned all-area, all- league, all-metro and all-state honors over his 3-year varsity career. Matt graduated with career records for points, field goals, free throws, steals and assists, and he is currently the 3rd leading scorer in school history behind his nephew, Tyler Jamison. During his senior year, Matt also had he privilege of playing on the basketball team with his younger brother, Brian. In football, Matt was QB and captain and received all-area, all-league and all-state honors. He currently is the co-leader for most TD passes in a single season. Matt also received all-area and all-league honors in tennis and track. He high jumped, ran the 800 meter and was a member of the 4x800 and 4x400 teams, and he was voted captain of the track team. As valedictorian of his senior class, Matt also collected academic all-state honors in all four sports.

While at Hillsdale College, Matt played both football and basketball. He was the starting QB his junior year until a shoulder injury ended his football career. Matt then transitioned to basketball where he was a 2-year starter and was selected captain his senior year. Matt was also named Hillsdale College’s Outstanding Senior Man.

Matt is married to his high school sweetheart, Kristen (Henline; PHN graduate), and he has two children, Andrew (25) and Ashley (23). He currently resides in both Novi, MI and Chicago, IL, where he is President and Managing Director of PMCF Investment Banking.
