Lifelong Port Huron resident and athlete; outstanding bowler, golfer, racquetball player and softball player; first woman in the Port Huron area to bowl a 700 series; city champion bowler in 1980; All-Star Women's Doubles League bowler in the Detroit area, carrying a 190 average; Youth Bowling Leader at Emery's Lanes for many years; active in youth development programs including Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
