Maurice W. "Maurie" Roach

A basketball and baseball star at Port Huron Junior College in the college's earliest days. Starred at Washington School and Port Huron High School before that. Continued to excel in baseball, basketball and softball through the 30's and 40's. Bowled for over 65 years, competing in many ABC tournaments. Won the Pop Riggin Trophy in the 50's. Began playing golf in 1924 and continued for over 60 years.
