Pete Michaluk - Softball

Year Inducted: 1999

During the late forties and early fifties, Pete Michaluk was a dominating pitcher in the Port Huron Industrial (fist-pitch) Softball League, playing for Detroit Edison and Mueller Brass Teams. In one stretch, Pete pitched a string of 48 scoreless innings, including 32 consecutive perfect innings. In 1947 his team captured the city championship with Pete winning 12 of the 15 games he started as a pitcher. That team also won the state championship.
