Rod Arquette
Year Inducted: 2004
Rod was an outstanding linebacker in football and catcher in baseball. At Port Huron Northern High School, he earned First Team honors on the Eastern Michigan League, All-Metro Detroit, All Blue Water Area, and honorable mention All-State. He went on the Olivet College, leading the team in defensive stats, was named most outstanding freshman and defensive team captain. From there he went to the London, Ontario Beefeaters of the Canadian Junior League where he set many records. In 1983 he won the Schenley Award as the best defensive player in Junior Football in Canada.
Rod has been a Stalwart on modified softball teams locally, playing for Little Caesars and Secory Flyers. Caesars won seven State Championships, was 4th in the Nationals in 1990 compiling a record of 63-7.
