Steve Claflin

Steve Claflin excelled in the sport of table tennis. He won National Championships in Canada and the United States. At his finest, he was ranked third best in the country. Between 1973-1980, he won 24 first place titles locally. Adding all of his national, international, regional, state, high school and local championships in both singles and doubles, his number exceeds 500 wins. He also starred locally in tennis as a singles player at Port Huron High School and in the Robinson Tournament. Steve was the number one tennis player for the Lake Superior State University for four years.
