Steven J. Stocker - Basketball, Baseball, Softball

Steven J. Stocker was born June 20, 1957. He was a stellar basketball, baseball and softball player.

As a basketball player at Port Huron High School, he was named first team All-City and first team All-Eastern Michigan League in both his junior and senior years (’74-’75 and ’75-’76). In both years he was the Big Reds M.V.P. He was third team All-State in his senior year. In ’75-’76 he won the Blue Water Area high school scoring title with a 22.3 per game average. He still holds two records at P.H.H.S.: most points in a game (45) and most free throws in a game (17). He played for several years in the Port Huron City Recreation Class A Division, in 1977 scoring 52 points in one game for Dawn Donuts.

As a baseball player at PHHS he was named first team All-Eastern Michigan League in both his junior and senior years. He pitched for two years at SCCCC ending with a 10-3 overall record. He played on two State championship teams with the Sharks while earning the league M.V.P. award four times. He played on the Little Caesar’s modified softball team that won seven State championships.
